Job Description
Colonial Behavioral Health provides opportunities for recovery to individuals and their family members in the areas of mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities. Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.
We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Manager position within our Central Access program. This position is responsible for providing clinical oversight, coordination, and clinical management of the Central Access Department. Central Access is primarily responsible for admissions to the agency using a Same Day Access mode.
Job Duties
Provides clinical oversight to a team of licensed and licensed eligible clinicians.
Responsible for licensure supervision to either Supervisees in Social Work or Residents in Counseling as outlined in the Board of Health Professions.
Coordinates with various departments and community resources to reduce barriers to treatment access.
Provides initial and ongoing assessment of individual needs, abilities, strengths and preferences, and service planning.
Provides management, oversight, and training to clinical employees within the Central Access Department.
Triages and links individuals and families to services matching their needs.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (EEO) Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
Excellent assessment and crisis intervention skills.
Ability to link individuals with needed clinical and support services.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task and maintain appropriate records.
One year of clinical experience
required.
Valid driver’s license is
required.
Minimum of 2 years previous clinical and supervisory experience in mental health/substance use disorder counseling
required.
Master's Degree in a human services field
required.
Approved clinical supervisor or ability to obtain within 60 days
required.
Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC or LCSW)
required.
DMV record must be submitted with application.
