Job Overview Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is seeking an Experienced Service Electrician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical and lighting systems throughout the metro area. This position supports both commercial and government clients and requires a technician who can work independently, operate a bucket truck safely, and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
This role is field‑based and hands‑on. The ideal candidate is technically strong, safety‑focused, and understands that doing the job right the first time matters.
Key Responsibilities Electrical & Lighting Service
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and lighting systems in commercial and government environments.
Diagnose and repair LED lighting systems, including drivers, fixtures, photocells, controls, wiring, and power supply issues.
Perform lighting repairs, upgrades, and component replacements efficiently and correctly.
Install new wiring, fixtures, and electrical components as required.
Identify upstream electrical issues and communicate findings clearly to supervisors or customers.
Verify proper operation of all repairs before leaving the job site.
Bucket Truck & Aerial Lift Operations
Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts in parking lots, roadways, and active facilities.
Perform daily pre‑trip and jobsite inspections of vehicles, lifts, and safety equipment.
Set up proper traffic control, cones, and work zones as required.
Work productively at height and in varying weather conditions.
Customer & Site Responsibilities
Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after service calls.
Represent LMI in a professional manner at all times.
Accurately document work performed, materials used, and outstanding issues.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly job sites.
Productivity, Documentation & Systems
Complete service work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Use company software and service management tools accurately and consistently.
Manage time effectively to minimize callbacks and rework.

Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
Bucket truck experience preferred (training available if needed).
Ability to complete daily documentation accurately and consistently.
Willingness to work nights, overtime, and emergency call‑outs as required.
