Analyze product transaction practices and procedures, including transactions of highly structured derivatives, to assess operational efficiencies and completeness. Enhance operational quality and efficiency throughout LATAM by eliminating time‑consuming and error‑prone manual workflows, reducing non‑standardized documentation and exposure to compliance risks, improving protections against fraud, and keeping pace with industry practice standards and technologies. Define and manage metrics and KPIs and contribute to directional strategy development for Citi’s Latin America Markets Operations business, ensuring strategic coherence across the region. Analyze multiple sources of data and develop recommendations on high‑priority initiatives including the annual strategic plan, following project management body of knowledge guidelines. Formulate and shepherd cross‑franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion, including strategies related to Trade products such as Export Credit Notes (NCE), Pre‑Payment Note (PPE), Advances on Export Exchange Contracts (ACC/ACE), LAW 4131, Import Finance (Finimp), Offshore Loan, and Supplier Finance. Apply knowledge of banking transactions and data management software tools and systems and establish best practices for decision management organizations including LATAM. Maintain local, regional and global strategic initiatives aligned and assess local strategies for inerrant and eminent risks. Analyze the business‑critical milestone reporting process and other reporting, ensuring quality, efficiency and accuracy of the reporting process. Collaborate to develop communication strategy for the department, facilitating development of communication materials and their presentations to management and stakeholders. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements
Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related field and 4 years of experience as Business Analytics Lead Analyst, Trade Sales Officer, Cash & Trade Process Analyst, Cash & Trade Process Intermediate Analyst or related position involving strategy development and project management for business operations at a global financial services institution. Alternatively, requires a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of specified progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: Formulating cross‑area initiatives and programs from conception to completion for Brazil; Overseeing executable strategies related to Trade products such as Export Credit Notes, Pre‑Payment Note, Advances on Export Exchange Contracts, LAW 4131, Import Finance, Offshore Loan, and Supplier Finance; Developing recommendations for operational process improvements; Defining and managing metrics and KPIs; Defining operations and technology funding prioritization, Technology book of work and programs management in accordance with PMBOK guidelines; Working with banking transactions and data management software tools and systems; Managing reporting processes.
