Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in food & beverage production, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. As a Cost Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Cost Accounting team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Support all aspects of cost accounting for the manufacturing operations
Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP
Analyze inventory costing methodologies and variances, providing detailed reports and insights
Review manufacturing variances, prepare standard journal entries, and propose adjustments as needed
Collaborate with plant managers and external teams to ensure accurate financial data and inventory management
What's Needed?
Minimum of 3-5 years of cost and inventory accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with cost analytics and manufacturing accounting processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
