Position Title:
(HR) Front Desk HR Assistant – Wrigley Field
Pay Range: $20.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Summary Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters. Assists with payroll processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests, inquiries, and questions both in person and over the phone
Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests, tracks HR compliance items and processes paperwork
Submits MLB credentialing for events
Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager
Makes photocopies, mass printing jobs, scans documents and performs other clerical functions
Files/scans papers and documents into the appropriate employee files using shared drive
Prepares and creates new employee files
Creates standard operating procedures
Supports large‑scale orientations
Processes office mail
Manages office bulletin boards
Ensures the office is clean, tidy, decorated, and stocked
Tracks office supply inventory and submits office supply orders
Supports HR employee engagement initiatives
Assists all managers with miscellaneous projects
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
This position requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
1–2 years of experience in an administration role
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and possesses exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to represent the department with confidence and professionalism
Demonstrated ability to stay composed and effective in high‑pressure situations
Proficient with office equipment including scanners, copiers, and printers
Bilingual preferred
