Report to: Inside Sales Specialist Team Lead
Position Responsibilities
Prioritize customer engagement to provide timely communication and support.
Accurately enter orders into the business operating system.
Send order acknowledgements to customers.
Send shipment instructions to warehouses.
Review order fulfillment status.
Check product availability and supply.
Provide tracking information to customers.
Forecast import and domestic production for customer orders.
Answer phone calls and emails.
Assist with preparation of sample shipments.
Accurately use and report on the inventory management system.
Competencies
Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate inventory tracking and organization.
Problem Solving Skills: Ability to identify and correct errors and modify processes as needed.
Technology Competency: Ability to understand and properly track inventory using handheld scanners and PC, as well as create labels and shipping documents.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately record transactions in the ERP system.
Quality Awareness: Understand the level of quality required by the automotive industry and perform accordingly.
Sense of Responsibility: Understands the importance of maintaining and accurately reporting inventory movement to accomplish company objectives.
Teamwork: Ability to work with other employees, vendors, and Inside Sales to establish healthy positive work relationships.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
Experience in supply chain or purchasing management (5–10 years).
Knowledge and experience in working with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Detail oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good teamwork with external and internal members.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that can be based out of either the sales office or manufacturing plant.
