As a Technical Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise to prioritize features based on business value and write detailed user stories ready for development. You will actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and establish effective partnerships with business and IT product teams. Your strong analytical and organizational skills will help transform data into insights, distill requirements, and develop processes that drive business success.
Responsibilities
Conduct sophisticated research of existing processes, systems, and objectives to meet product goals.
Collaborate with Product Manager and SMEs to prioritize feature development based on business value.
Elicit and create initial epics/features and elaborate into user scenarios describing functional and non‑functional requirements.
Deliver business requirements through artifacts such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria, user stories, process flows, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within a Scrum framework.
Document new features, requirements, and strategies during work sessions.
Oversee testing, bug tracking, and enhancements, ensuring issues are resolved before production deployment.
Balance multiple initiatives and evolving priorities effectively.
Use data and analysis to convey solution impact and support process‑driven solutions.
Develop business logic and critical metrics for decision support models and tools.
Construct problem statements, understand root causes, and deliver recommendations with supporting data.
Provide guidance for project planning and effort estimation within scope.
Identify risks and propose mitigation approaches.
Develop and maintain internal customer relationships with business unit leaders.
Conduct user testing to gather feedback and ensure the product meets user needs and expectations.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
3+ years of hands‑on experience as a scrummaster, project manager, product owner, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and ability to apply appropriate Agile approaches in software development and delivery.
Understanding of product features and ability to design, build, test and develop new products, technologies, or services from feasibility to production.
Proficiency in requirement analysis tools, methods, and techniques.
Flexibility to adapt and plan for changing business objectives.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organization skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once while communicating with various different business groups.
Execute with a Sense of Urgency.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred.
Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred.
