Senior Care Therapy is seeking full‑time part‑time Licensed Mental Health Counselors to provide in‑person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population across more than 300 skilled nursing facilities in NJ, NY, PA, and MD.
Our clinician‑owned company handles all administrative tasks—including billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre‑certifications—so you can focus on delivering high‑quality clinical care.
What We Provide
Customizable part‑time or full‑time opportunities tailored to your personal and professional goals (32‑hour or 40‑hour equivalent work week). Salary ranges $56,000‑$90,000 with uncapped FFS bonus and a sign‑on bonus up to $6,000 for full‑time employees.
Flexible daytime hours with autonomy and no administrative tasks or cancellations.
EHR designed for clinicians: efficient and user‑friendly.
SCT University: CEU reimbursement, psychologist‑led training on day one with ongoing support, peer‑to‑peer learning, cutting‑edge resources and mentorship for career growth.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in sub‑acute or skilled nursing facilities.
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in regulatory compliance using our clinician‑designed EHR.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state applying for.
Effective oral and written communication in English.
Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide in‑person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes per session.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical experience in a sub‑acute, long‑term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders (psychology or addictions experience is a plus).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
