Salary Range : $35.00 - $45.00 Hourly
We are seeking
Part-Time Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs)
to support international and domestic line maintenance operations at
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) . AMTs are responsible for ensuring aircraft are safe, airworthy, and cleared for on-time departures through inspections and pre-flight servicing.
Shift Coverage:
Coverage is needed
7 days a week, 24/7
Technicians may be required to report earlier than scheduled for early arrivals and remain beyond shift hours to resolve mechanical delays
Responsibilities include:
Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical discrepancies
Service systems including hydraulics, oxygen, oil, and tires
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and logbooks
Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, customer policies, and internal safety standards
Communicate effectively with maintenance control and station leadership
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, and in active ramp environments with aircraft noise and operational fumes
Maintain professionalism and a safety-first mindset at all times
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)
— must be current, valid, and with no history of infractions
Aircraft maintenance experience required ;
line maintenance experience strongly preferred
Experience and/or training on at least
two commercial aircraft types
preferred (such as A319, A320, A321, B737, B767, B777, or E190)
Wide-body experience is beneficial but not required
Ability to obtain an airport badge
Ability to
legally operate motorized vehicles on the airfield ;
valid driver’s license required
Must be able to pass a
TSA-compliant background screening ,
pre-employment drug screen , and
physical
Customs clearance
may be required based on flight coverage needs and will be determined by management
Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy and ability to work with maintenance documentation systems
Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team-oriented environment as part of the
CAS team
Availability for
flexible scheduling , including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs
Must be able to
report earlier than scheduled
for early aircraft arrivals and
stay past shift
if mechanical delays occur
Willingness to work in
outdoor environments
with exposure to
extreme weather ,
jet noise , and
fumes
from aircraft operations
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to:
Stand, kneel, lie down, and climb stairs, scaffolds, or ladders
Frequently lift, pull, push, and hold objects weighing
70+ pounds
Tolerate noise and vibration when aircraft engines are operating (hearing protection required)
