Job Summary Senior IT Manager – Print Operations (White Oak, Maryland) – Full time, Job Req 50234.

About the Role The Senior IT Manager reports to the Production Manager on Information Technology and oversees maintenance and support for the Dow Jones printing plant. Responsibilities include ensuring pressroom, mailroom, building, and IT infrastructure meet quality, productivity, and cost goals.

You Will

Implement the corporate technology direction including desktop, server, telephony, network architectures, and messaging.

Communicate effectively to ensure maintenance programs align with production quality and prioritize production needs.

Direct technology services and machinist staff to improve the Production Quality Score.

Assist in developing department budget criteria.

Coordinate with building operations managers to maintain building assets.

Guide department supervisors and foremen in preventive maintenance programs and record keeping.

Maintain open communication with employees, emphasizing departmental goals.

Enforce local labor agreements and company policies in coordination with the production manager.

Provide ongoing training and development for technology services and machinist staff.

Develop and deliver performance reviews and development plans for staff annually.

Maintain accurate written records of employee performance and disciplinary actions.

Recommend salaries for approval by the production manager.

Hire, train, and retain a diverse, highly‑skilled staff.

Assist in implementing policies that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including EEO and safety regulations.

You Have

3–5 years of technical and some management experience, with knowledge of project and process management methodologies.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Effective priority and time‑management abilities.
