Qualifications
Experience with auto parts sales (preferred), social media savvy and able to post to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Parts internet sales experience preferred (posting parts to eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Amazon).
Have a genuine commitment to job, energetic, be able to take initiative and show enthusiasm/high energy level.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
Think outside the box.
Communicate with customers on parts status.
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Review body shop estimates to ensure the parts ordered are correct and pricing aligns with the estimate.
Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
Pull and fill orders from stock.
Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick‑up.
