Associate Manager of Parking Operations - JW Marriott Anaheim Resort
Location: Anaheim, CA
Job Summary The Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring high levels of client, customer and associate satisfaction at a designated Towne Park location. Key responsibilities include managing the delivery of guest/patient services; hiring, training, evaluating and discharging associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; financial management and reporting; addressing customer complaints; and managing a minimum of two associates.
Essential Functions (Total 100%)
Ensures that the guest service experience is delivered exceptionally and consistently on all shifts (15%).
Efficiently allocates labor resources to support service delivery and reduces staffing levels if business conditions dictate, reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results (20%).
Is actively engaged in the recruitment and hiring processes, responds proactively to associate feedback (15%).
Assists Account Manager in establishing guidelines, conducts training, performance appraisals, coaching, disciplinary actions (20%).
Develops cohesive working relationships with client staff, maintains regular communication (15%).
Understands and drives business metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, turnover, ensures accurate revenue capture, reporting and controls (15%).
Qualifications Education Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
Licensure & Certification Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Work Experience Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in hospitality
Knowledge
Towne Park’s safety and security procedures
Towne Park’s safe driving policies
Hot spot and accident reporting policies
Equipment training procedures
Claim check, ticketing and key box training
Customer service principles and processes
Customer confidentiality policies (HIPAA)
Business writing, basic accounting, business metrics
Client’s facility, outlets, parking rates
Skills
Drive manual transmission
Computer proficiency: MS Office, POS applications
Present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Written and verbal communication skills
Represent company in diverse settings
Read, analyze and interpret policies and manuals

Independent duties with minimal supervision; day-to-day decisions impacting operations and finances
Hiring and discharging associates; disciplinary responsibilities
Budget Responsibility Control over available resources only.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work usually in climate-controlled environment; occasional inclement weather. Requires standing, walking, running, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Travel up to 10% may be required.
