Role:

Labor & Delivery RN

Schedule:

.75 FTE Night Shift (five 12-hour shifts every 2 weeks, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Location:

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, Vancouver, WA

Unit:

32-bed LDRP Model Family Birth Center with 2 OR suites

Care Model:

Labor & Delivery, Mom-Baby, and OR Circulating

Special Features:

Natural births, water births, midwife-supported care

What You’ll Do

Provide professional, compassionate nursing care in compliance with unit standards

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs

Document care accurately and direct team members appropriately

Support hospital policies, safety, and infection prevention programs

Engage in ongoing education and professional development

What We’re Looking For

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Experience:

Minimum 1 year in Labor & Delivery within the last 2 years OR completion of a formal training program

Licenses & Certifications:

WA State RN License or Multistate RN License

Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 60 days

Fetal Monitoring Program completion (within last 2 years or during orientation)

Preferred:

BSN and specialty certifications

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a patient-centered environment
