More about our team Ascension Saint Thomas is a 40- bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Nashville community for over 3 years. We are proud to be recognized by: Joint Commission Uniform Daa System (UDS) – ranked in the top 9% of Rehabilitation Hospitals in 2024 Newsweek Recognition – America’s best physical rehabilitation facility in 2024 How you’ll contribute A speech-language pathologist who excels in this role: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel. We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
