Job Summary The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement operations, supplier management, and inventory control while ensuring accurate data alignment and system optimization. This role focuses on sourcing, supplier performance, pricing control, and procurement planning, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage setup and maintenance of new raw materials and related datasets

Align and maintain accuracy of existing part and procurement data

Support system alignment and continuous improvement initiatives

Perform inventory analysis and support inventory control activities

Assist with procurement planning and execution of purchasing processes

Conduct supplier capacity reviews, scorecards, and risk assessments

Monitor, control, and optimize pricing

Required Skills And Competencies Core Procurement and Sourcing Skills

Supplier sourcing and evaluation

Cost analysis and price benchmarking

Negotiation of pricing, terms, MOQs, and lead times

Contract review and management

Purchase order creation and management

Spend analysis

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis

Supplier relationship management

Analytical And Financial Skills

Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and lookups

Budget tracking and cost control

Basic forecasting and demand planning

Understanding of pricing structures such as volume breaks, rebates, and freight impacts

High level of data accuracy and attention to detail

Supply Chain and Operations Knowledge

Lead time management

Inventory management fundamentals

MRP and ERP system experience

Understanding of logistics and freight
