Job Description

This position supports the Government Compliance Analyst - Audit Response.

As a member of the Audit Response team, position ensures that the department effectively complies with U.S. Government Contractual and Financial Regulations (FAR, DFARS, Other Agency Supplements, CAS, GAAP, etc.).

In addition, the ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative, contractual and financial support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with little supervision.

This person must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting the Compliance function and an office of diverse people and programs.

The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast‑paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive and resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Expert level written and verbal communication skills, intermediate level computer skills and attention to detail are equally important.

Job Activities

Support general administrative activities to include maintaining electronic files (and hardcopy when necessary) for audit response.

Maintain the Government Compliance SharePoint intranet website.

Providing compliance administrative support on established and new policies and procedures.

Collect and prepare file review and general metrics on monthly or, on an as determined basis in prescribed format.

Support of all current DCAA/DCMA RFI audits.

Financial compliance activities to include assist in the development and compliance review of the annual Incurred Cost Submission. Utilizes automated tools for finance functions using SharePoint or other IT programs.

Assist in data mining and retrieval of document records for Incurred Cost Submission audits. Assist with data entries in support of DCAA/DCMA audits.

Supporting special projects as determined by the Director, Government Compliance.

Maintains working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS and financial regulations and policies.

Supporting Government Compliance for all DCAA, DCMA and other audit requirements.

Keeps properly informed of financial and contractual compliance issues through participation in professional education opportunities.

Participate in all required training, as assigned.

Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Potential for the need to travel as required – minimal.

Qualifications Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

1-3 years relevant job experience.

Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS and GAAP required.
