Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Sourcing Analyst to join their team. As a Data Sourcing Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Data Management Department supporting the Regulatory Reporting team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:
60‑65/hr W2
What's the Job?
Identify and source critical data elements across enterprise data warehouses to support regulatory reporting requirements.
Profile large datasets, assess data quality, and identify missing or inconsistent attributes to ensure data integrity.
Develop and maintain detailed Source‑to‑Target (S2T) mapping documentation, including transformation logic and attribute lineage.
Collaborate with finance, technology, and governance teams to finalize source tables and mappings, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Support the design and implementation of automated data controls to enhance report accuracy and audit readiness.
What's Needed?
6+ years of experience in data sourcing, financial data analytics, or regulatory reporting, preferably within large banking or financial institutions.
Strong understanding of US regulatory reports such as Basel, Y‑9C, 2052a, and Call Reports, with hands‑on experience supporting data sourcing for these reports.
Proven ability to identify required data elements, profile datasets, and assess data quality across enterprise data warehouses.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with Google BigQuery or similar cloud‑based analytics tools.
Experience creating detailed S2T mapping documents, including data transformation logic and attribute lineage, aligned with regulatory reporting needs.
