The Wurzak Hotel Group is looking to add a skilled
Night Auditor
to their team to manage all aspects of hotel guest’s accommodation within the
Dalmar & Element hotel
in downtown
Fort Lauderdale, FL . You will welcome new guests and issue room keys, manage reservations and provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities.
General Requirements
Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house
Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest request cannot be met
Complete the pass-on log whenever a complaint is reported
Maintain all areas of the front desk
Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Manage online and phone reservations
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Cover other areas of hotel as needed
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor, Receptionist, or similar role
Experience with hotel reservations software, Lightspeed & EMPOWER GXP
Customer service experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
