Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for tasks related to the movement, restocking, and accounting of items stored in various locations. Key duties include compiling records, maintaining drug supplies, rotating stock, and operating automated pharmacy equipment.
Responsibilities
Maintain inventories of pharmaceuticals and supplies by stocking shelves, rotating stock, and monitoring expiration dates.
Fill/stocks medications in automated devices and storage areas.
Operate pharmacy automation equipment (e.g., Autofill devices, Baker Cells, Kalish Cells, A-Frames).
Read computer screens, scan items, and accurately select drugs/products by name, strength, and National Drug Code (NDC) number.
Perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (HS) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Four years of experience in inventory, logistics, or similar roles.
Basic PC computer skills and typing abilities.
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
Must stand/sit for extended periods and perform repetitive motions as required.
Hours of Operation:
6:00 AM - 8:00 PM (staggered start times) | Monday through Friday
Hourly Salary:
$18.50 - $20.00 (based on experience and market conditions).
