Quality Engineer III

Fremont, CA
Pay Range:
$33-38/hr (W2 Contract)
Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer III to join their team. As a Quality Engineer III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting product development and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of quality systems and regulations.
What’s the Job?
Lead and support new product development projects to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Drive design control activities, including design reviews and risk assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
Conduct product and process validation, and review associated documentation.
Investigate non-conformances, lead CAPA investigations, and implement corrective actions.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of medical device quality assurance experience.
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, FDA, IVDR, QSR).
Proven experience in product and process validation, risk management, and statistical analysis.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
