Our client, a distributor of dental and animal health products and services, is seeking an
Indirect Sourcing Analyst
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have sourcing or procurement, vendor management, invoice coding skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title Indirect Sourcing Analyst
Location Mendota Heights MN (Hybrid)
Contract 5 Months (extension possible)
Pay Range $40 - $46 hourly (possibly more for qualified candidates - W2 only)
Hours 30 hours per week (6 Hours per Day)
What’s the Job?
Analyze and optimize sourcing processes
to identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve procurement efficiency, and streamline vendor agreements and workflows.
Manage RFPs, bidding processes, and supplier relationships , ensuring quality service, competitive pricing, and favorable contract terms.
Collaborate with business stakeholders
to align sourcing strategies with operational needs, including software/service renewals and new product launches.
Perform detailed cost analysis and industry benchmarking , develop savings plans, and negotiate with suppliers to drive financial results and operational excellence.
Oversee invoice processing and coding , maintain procurement records, and support audit readiness through accurate documentation and compliance practices.
What’s Needed?
3+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing , with a strong understanding of vendor management, RFPs, and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in cost analysis and benchmarking , with the ability to identify savings opportunities and optimize sourcing strategies.
Strong analytical and organizational skills , capable of managing invoice coding, procurement records, and audit documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities , with experience partnering across departments and managing supplier relationships.
Working knowledge of procurement systems and tools , such as ERP platforms, Excel (advanced), and sourcing workflow systems.
