About the Role The Customer Business Development Analyst for our newly acquired Power Crunch® brand will be responsible for providing analytical insights, identifying opportunities for growth, and creating presentations to support the strategy of the brand. They will also be responsible for creating scorecards to monitor and analyze sales performance and identify category trends. The position is located in our Parsippany, N.J. office, and will report to the Customer Business Development Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Support creation of new product launch presentations for our strategic customers and the leadership team
Execute processes and tools to provide visibility and accountability re: trade, volume, innovation, KPIs for the channel
Analyze post promotional events, promotional effectiveness, distribution opportunities, assortment recommendations
Develop and execute new and innovative scorecards to analyze business performance and complete ad hoc requests for the sales and leadership teams
Provide actionable insights on performance, trends and opportunities to the team
Analyze trade spend compared to sales performance and targets
Assist Customer Business Development Manager in volume and trade discussions on a weekly basis ensuring team stays within budget and continues to drive sales
Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams
Utilize data sources (i.e., Circana, ACN, SAP) to analyze the data and create compelling sales stories
About You
At least 3 + years’ CPG experience
Bachelor’s degree in business
Data analytics experience and knowledge of Circana, Nielsen IQ
Sales experience a plus
Strong math, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Detailed oriented with solid planning and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a proactive and timely manner
Ability to generate positive relationships and foster a team environment
Strong organizational agility and relationship building a must
Good communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $106,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
