Overview
Our client, a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior CMP Equipment Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior CMP Equipment Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Support Department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for technological innovation, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior CMP Equipment Engineer
Location: Boise, Idaho
Pay Range: $90,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities
Lead the installation and qualification of industry-leading CMP equipment in our state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities.
Analyze equipment performance data, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document findings thoroughly.
Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related challenges impacting production efficiency and quality.
Manage projects using established methodologies to address hardware gaps and improve equipment performance.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors to ensure optimal equipment operation and benchmark performance standards.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of industry experience as an Equipment Owner specializing in chemical mechanical planarization (CMP).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience, or an AAS with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training, including potential extended periods in Taiwan.
Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
