Job Description – Filler Operator Location: Millville, NJ Shift: 6:00PM-6:00AM, 12 hours shift on 2-2-3 schedule Payrate: $19.00 Reports to: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

Operate and monitor filling machines to achieve production goals and perform quality checks. Take immediate action to ensure a safe and quality product is being packaged.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the equipment is stocked with packaging materials such as cartons and caps.

Set‑up and monitor gable printers.

Perform all quality checks such as monitoring the weight of the product and verifying gable codes.

Accurately document and report operator quality inspections and tracking number for packaging materials.

Clear jams and spills and manually operate equipment as necessary.

Perform CIP and SIP of Filler.

Provide break and lunch relief to co‑workers in the area.

Perform Dye and Peroxide checks 2x a shift.

Attend and participate in daily shift meetings.

Uphold visual management of the work area.

Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies.

Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies.

Strict adherence to all GMP and food safety policies.

Perform necessary preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.

Report all equipment malfunctions and abnormalities to Maintenance Technicians for follow‑up and repairs.

Housekeeping of the area.

Create and follow‑up on work orders for area as needed.

Completes all required training on time.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to weights, measures and record keeping.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Required to regularly lift to 50 lbs.

Standing, sitting, walking for long periods of time.

Use of stairs, stools, and ladders.
