Job Description – What You’ll Do
Install, terminate, configure, and test
enterprise security solutions with minimal supervision
Mag locks
Electronic door strikes
Card readers & keypads
Electric crash bars
EREX (Emergency Request-to-Exit buttons)
REX (Request-to-Exit PIR) motion sensors
IP cameras
NVRs/DVRs
Perform
proper cable installation practices (labeling, dressing, bend-radius, PoE/IP considerations)
Troubleshoot & problem‑solve
device, wiring, and network issues
Read and interpret blueprints /low‑voltage drawings; coordinate device locations and pathways
Lead project installations
as required; maintain
quality control
and provide
exceptional customer service
Track project progress , escape risks, and close punch‑list items
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Process‑oriented
with strong
communication
and
organizational
skills
Ability to
support customer systems via remote diagnostics
professionally
Networking knowledge
and practical internet/IP experience (IP addressing, PoE basics, switch/NVR connectivity)
Able to
work independently
and resolve problems to the customer’s satisfaction
Valid driver’s license
and
clean MVR
required
Current certification in any of the following is a plus:
Honeywell Pro‑Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, Brivo
Training:
Paladin Technologies will invest in training for the right candidate
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amarillo, TX.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
