Warehouse Vendor Compliance Clerk – Full Time 1st Shift
Join the Staples supply chain team and help us deliver state‑of‑the‑art products and services to our customers.
Shift:
4:00 am – 12:30 pm, Monday‑Friday
What you’ll be doing
Warehouse Inventory Control:
Review inventory, reconcile discrepancies, identify delivery shortages, maintain inventory records; operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks while adhering to safety procedures.
Warehouse Clerk:
Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies and damages with colleagues; communicate professionally with internal and external contacts to clarify and resolve issues; operate material handling equipment and follow safety procedures.
Work as an SC3 associate, with the flexibility to move into other roles (SC1, SC2) as needed.
Support Staples Supply Chain success by ensuring safe work practices and embracing the safety culture.
What you bring to the table
Experience in warehouse operations.
Independent, analytical thinking with mathematical problem‑solving skills.
Proficient use of Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and ability to learn WMS systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members at all levels.
Inclusive approach and ability to build strong relationships.
Basic housekeeping in assigned warehouse areas.
Familiarity with safety procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
Material handling equipment certification (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.).
Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
Basic Qualifications
Pass a legal drug screen.
Full‑time associate must be willing to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift (overtime as needed).
Work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
Lift, push or pull boxes weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.
Wear safety composite work shoes.
Walk and stand 100 % of the time.
Be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of warehouse experience, including MHE operation and inventory control.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
