Core Responsibilities

Originate corn and beans from local farmer producers

Oversee grain logistics and maintain daily communication with drivers

Assist in hedging activities and position accounting

Develop and maintain commercial relationships to expand information flow

Ensure timely entry of trades into accounting systems

Stay tuned to CBOT, NGFA, and trade rule developments

Contribute to strategic planning and business analysis

Gather and share commodity news and market insights

Customer visits and team support as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in economics, agricultural economics, finance, business administration, or another business discipline

5 years of relative experience

Working knowledge of futures markets, hedging, and arbitrage

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong quantitative skills, including basic knowledge of statistics

Ability to organize multiple responsibilities, prioritize workload, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Valid driver's license
