Land Operator – NOV
This role requires the candidate to perform all aspects of solids control operations, including rig up and down, troubleshooting, repair, analysis, and reporting. The candidate must also maintain training, communicate effectively, and support the team with general labor tasks.
Responsibilities
Complete Solids Control rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
Perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment.
Perform electrical rig ups, rig downs and minor repairs.
Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs.
Follow proper sampling procedure.
Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
Complete daily reports.
Communicate with customers, supervisors and co‑workers.
Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude.
Successfully train other employees.
Travel outside hiring region, if needed.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrate willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to identify potential mechanical problems.
Possess a satisfactory driving record.
Pass background check, pre‑placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing.
Operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner.
Operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and/or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.
