Position Title: Distribution Center- Warehouse Associate
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Overview Herff Jones is the leading provider of graduation and educational products and services designed to inspire achievement. Our team works with students, faculty, and staff nationwide to celebrate milestones. We’re looking for energetic Warehouse Associates to join the Indianapolis team.
Responsibilities
Pull, pack, and inspect graduation apparel orders.
Meet production and quality standards.
Train and direct new personnel.
Learn all product lines and warehouse processes.
Select material by quality standards, colors, styles, and shades.
Recognize colors and different cloth styles.
Qualifications
Self‑motivated.
Adequate computer skills.
Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties.
Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
Ability to work mandatory overtime.
Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Lifts up to 30 pounds (job may require lifting to, but not exceeding 30 lbs.).
Physical Activities
Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
Reading, communication, simple math.
Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
Standing, walking, squatting, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling for 8–10 hour shifts required.
