Summary
Operate energy facilities for the production of steam, instrument air, pad air, factory air, soft water, and clarified water for the Westlake complex utility needs.
Operate secondary waste treatment facility, along with filter press, #3 cooling tower, fire water system, sand filter pond; conduct and document sampling.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate and monitor #1, #2, and #3 boilers for production of 180# steam.
Operate and monitor factory air, instrument air, and pad air compressors.
Operate and monitor air dryers for instrument air, pad air, and factory air.
Operate and monitor sodium and hydrogen softeners for production of soft water and associated regeneration and neutralization system.
Operate secondary waste treatment and all associated equipment.
Operate and optimize filter press, cooling tower, and associated equipment; fire water system; sand filter pond.
Conduct and document sampling.
Minimum Qualifications
Four-year college degree.
