Ryder is immediately hiring for Permanent Full-Time Forklift Operators and Material Handlers in Lansing, Michigan. Warehouse forklift operator / driver positions pay weekly. Hourly Pay: $19.15 per hour Overtime Pay: $28.72 per hour Shift Premium: $1.00 when working Second or Third Shift Schedule: Second Shift Monday-Friday 2:30 pm‑11:00 pm / Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed We want the right warehouse associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply‑chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid forklift operator’s license certified Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Team player, able to work in a diverse work environment Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all levels of the organization Highly thorough and dependable Must be punctual and have a good attendance record Performs work independently with minimal supervision Possesses a high degree of initiative Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work using health and safety methods Must be available to work a flexible schedule on various work shifts Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Important Note

Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Perform duties within performance‑measurement guidelines of the contract. Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks. Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading). Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production. Perform other duties as assigned.
