This individual will report directly to the Field Operating Director. The Field Interim Director (Field ID) will play a critical role for the organization by stepping into existing Cornerstone Caregiving field offices on an interim basis for ODs that have transitioned out of the organization. The Field ID will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of field office operations including marketing, recruiting, scheduling, and team management for a period of time. This individual will regularly address the entering status of an assumed field office including the hours, client and caregiver paperwork, reception by community partners, and potential for growth. This individual will stabilize and grow the field office during his/her oversight and report on the finalized status of an assumed field office to the permanent Operating Director. This role will be a hybrid role consisting of office visits and remote support of field offices based on the status of the office, their hours, and the supporting team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Operations & Office Administration

Assume the role and responsibilities of the departing Operating Director, ensuring continuity of care in daily operations and maintaining a high level of client and caregiver support.

During office visits, tidy office space, get the Cornerstone vehicle cleaned and detailed (as needed), dispose of or donate unused items, audit and scan in all client and caregiver paperwork.

Create and maintain forms to communicate with Home Base, field office team, and future OD on the state of the office upon entering and exit (vehicle status, client and caregiver paperwork, relationships with community partners, etc.)

Streamline communication flow with all relevant Home Base team members. Collaborate with other Home Base departments within the organization to facilitate smooth operations and address any administrative needs. Work with Cornerstone’s recruiting team as needed to provide input and insights to ensure a suitable permanent OD replacement.

Oversee the marketing activities of the office, developing and implementing effective strategies to attract clients and increase brand visibility.

Office Oversight

Be prepared to utilize Indeed to recruit, interview, and hire qualified caregivers for new and existing clients.

Be prepared to utilize AxisCare to schedule caregivers with new and existing clients and ensure appropriate coverage is met for all Cornerstone clients and caregivers.

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the caregiver and manager team, promoting professional growth and maintaining a positive work environment.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of caregivers and manager team, implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies and procedures.

Serve as a point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong and efficient communication skills are required.

Must be skilled in technology to learn and train on CRMs, phone systems, and scheduling systems.

Preferred experience in home care, hospice, home health, or senior living communities.

Teachable, fast learner.
