Responsibilities
Assists in age‑specific perioperative care and preparation of Vascular Imaging patients by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the hospital.
Performs scrub duties and related procedures; provides assistance in emergency as well as elective and scheduled cases.
Assists in the preparation, transportation and supervision of patients; meets physical comfort needs of patient; reports emergencies and administers emergency treatment.
Scrubs instruments and equipment; works on call as scheduled.
Responsible for the care, trouble shooting and maintenance of the C‑arm.
Performs general clerical duties by preparing, compiling and maintaining records in the CathLab; schedules patients for surgery, treatments or tests; orders and stores supplies; answers telephone; assists physicians in locating patients’ films; prepares routine, confidential and/or special reports, documents and records; assists with patient/quality improvement audits.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as an ECHO Tech
Required Certification: BLS, preference for ACLS
Required Licensure: (None listed)
Skills: Computer, typewriter skills
Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
