Warehouse Associate - Future Opportunities Location:

El Paso, TX

ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., is a distributor of a broad range of technology products and provides depot maintenance services for several OEMs. We offer a fast-paced and fun environment with excellent opportunities for growth.

This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse; with a high sense of attention to detail receives packages/cartons. Also, may be required to move and ship product following provided tasks instructions. This position requires some computer skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable using web-based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Candidates with forklift certification are a plus.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Follows documented processes to ensure proper inventory levels

Loads and unloads trailers while using proper equipment (i.e. fork lift, pallet jack, etc.)

Packs and unpacks boxes with product

Counts and weighs product as required using basic mathematical equations

Moves material throughout the warehouse by following established processes and material handling best practices by either fork lift or pallet jack

Sorts and verifies product information for accuracy through Excel/Word documents/spreadsheets

Meets warehouse productivity standards

Supports other departments/duties as required throughout the warehouse

Accurately populates data in designated systems pertaining to shipments and inventory

Job Requirements Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience

Warehouse experience, 6-12 months preferred

Other Skills and Abilities

Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel & Word

Ability to follow directions, use small hand tools and general office equipment such as: calculators, fax machines, copy machines and telephones

Ability to lift up to 50 Pounds

Must be flexible, adaptable, able to follow instructions and procedures as requested or required to meet customer needs

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure

Must be self-disciplined

Must be a good team player with good attendance record

Must be aware of and follow all safety standards/policies/practices procedures

Performs all activities to comply with our 5S's standards
