Our client, a leading organization in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a Critical Environment Technician Lead to join their team. As a Critical Environment Technician Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Critical Environment Technician Lead Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin
18Month Contract
Pay Range: $46
What's the Job?
Oversee daily maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, decommissioning, and cabling within the data center environment.
Ensure all tasks are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with SLAs, KPIs, and standard procedures.
Validate work quality, identify root causes of issues, and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Mentor technicians through on-the-job training, delivering technical lessons on procedures such as MOPs, SOPs, and DMOPs.
Conduct daily safety briefings, ensure compliance with PPE, JHAs, electrical safety standards, and escalate concerns as needed.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in a 24x7x365 mission-critical data center environment focusing on mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience managing large‑scale mechanical systems such as chilled water, economizers, air handling, and heat rejection.
Familiarity with electrical infrastructure including UPS, generators, and switchgear.
Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
