Overview

Soldering Assessment will be required after the Onsite Interview. Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components using manual processes, including stuffing, mechanical assembly, hand assembly, and soldering (both lead and lead-free), ensuring all soldering tasks meet IPC Class 3 workmanship standards. Minimum 2 year of experience in electronics assembly. Class 3 - High-Reliability Electronics (Our most critical work)

Highest workmanship standard Required for aerospace, defense, devices, avionics, life-support or safety‑critical systems No tolerance for defects – work must be precise, clean, and reliable Solder joints must be properly wetted, uniform, and completely free of pits, cracks, voids, or contamination Very strict on component alignment, lead trim, solder amount, and cleanliness Typically requires prior experience with IPC‑A‑610 and Class 3 environments

Qualifications

Must Have hands‑on Class 3 assembly experience. Have worked with tight tolerances and strict quality systems. Demonstrate strong attention to detail. Are comfortable working under a microscope. Understand why Class 3 is held to a higher standard. Produce consistent, repeatable workmanship. Can explain Class 2 vs. Class 3 differences.
