Job Title: Logistics Clerk
Job Description
As a Logistics Clerk, you will be responsible for creating and updating purchase orders, scheduling raw material transfers, and maintaining communication with various internal teams such as Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Shipping. Your role will involve resolving discrepancies, coordinating returns and credits with vendors and Quality Assurance, adjusting purchase orders and receipts, generating reports, and providing support to inventory and shipping teams.
Responsibilities
Create and update purchase orders.
Schedule raw material transfers.
Maintain communication with internal teams such as Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Shipping.
Resolve discrepancies and coordinate returns and credits with vendors and Quality Assurance.
Adjust purchase orders and receipts as needed.
Generate reports to support inventory and shipping teams.
Essential Skills
Experience as a parts clerk, and proficiency in data entry and supply chain management.
Knowledge of freight, dispatch, and logistics.
Experience in shipping and receiving, inventory, and transportation.
Strong administrative support and service skills.
1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with ERP or ordering systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform tasks quickly and efficiently.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
