The Machine Repair/Industrial Maintenance position responsibilities include machine breakdown repairs, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative maintenance programs and continuous machine improvements. The role will help increase machine reliability and support facility capital investments.
Electrical Responsibilities
Diagnose malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, rectifiers, instrumentation, wiring, and lighting fixtures; replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and positioning sensing devices.
Bend conduit; install new wiring for sensors, valves, actuators, and other electrical devices used for machine and process control.
Repair machine controls using a PLC, servo, stepper, and basic relay logic controls.
Mechanical Responsibilities
Repair or replace damaged air, chemical, water, and hydraulic hoses/pipes on machines; measure, cut, thread, and install new hoses/pipe.
Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; replace as needed.
Align and adjust components on machines to improve or correct machine functionality and part quality.
Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Set up and operate metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder to make or repair parts.
Braze, weld, cut, solder, and metalize as required to effect repairs.
Test all repairs and installations for accurate functionality and proper performance. Record all work completed in the company asset tracking software, communicating issues, parts used and the need to restock components to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
5+ years of experience in industrial machine maintenance.
Experience working with Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems.
Basic digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Organized and able to work with little supervision.
All other duties as assigned.
Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
120VAC, 480VAC 3‑phase electrical systems.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Repair and maintenance of CNC machining equipment.
Blueprint reading.
Experience in a CMMS environment.
Welding.
Lock Out/Tag Out.
Confined space work.
Forklift operation.
