Principal Accountabilities
Monitor FSIS/CFIA regulatory activities and ensure plant compliance with regulatory standards; act as liaison between USDA/CFIA and plant operations.
Act as customer interface within the plant to review product performance, respond to questions and complaints, and work with operations to meet customer expectations.
Plan, coordinate and direct all quality, sanitation, regulatory and food safety programs to ensure compliance with company, governmental and customer requirements.
Manage employee performance: selection, training, development and staff efficiencies.
Verify and review results, communicate with Corporate Technical Services, and collaborate with TS Managers across the platform.
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
Basic knowledge of safe food handling and employee safety practices.
Basic math skills (reading and comparing weights/measurements, performing calculations, coordinating lot numbers with orders).
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Acceptable attendance record.
Preferred Qualifications
Beef processing experience.
QA or supervisory experience.
Test and hold or lab experience.
Bi‑lingual ability (English, Spanish).
Strong understanding of USDA/CFIA requirements.
