Role Summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre. They ensure policies and procedures are being followed and operational standards are achieved. They are cross trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees. The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months. Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in decision making and communication with staff. Work in all departments and all theatre job functions. Train and coach Team Members in their specific job functions. Assist in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager. Observe and participate in the inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, property, roof and exterior signage, and equipment condition. Report the need for building, property, and equipment repairs to the General Manager. Ensure that theatre Team Members follow the dress code. Interact with Guests for improved service and ensure that Team Members are providing superior Customer service. Learn and follow the policies and procedures as established in Cinemark’s Guidelines and enforce them with all Team Members fairly and consistently. Report all Employee relations issues to the General Manager; if absent, report to the Employee Relations Protocol. Maintain a high work ethic standard and code of conduct; identify and sanitize high-contact situations. Properly use Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks, address any safety or security issues, and adapt to required cleaning tasks. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Requirements

At least 18 years of age. High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred. Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program. Completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state health or food handler permits. Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular and consistent attendance. Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift and excellent guest service skills. Accurate cash handling and basic math skills. Strong communication skills in English; ability to converse with all ages, genders, and personalities. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Ability to take and follow direction and respond with a sense of urgency. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to train and lead others, including conflict resolution. Physical and Environmental Requirements

Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre. Noise level may be moderate to high at times. Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time. Benefits
