**What You'll Do:**
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including potential emergencies within a chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for hazards or unusual conditions that may arise in a chemical or petrochemical setting, and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Support access control by observing entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
