Pride Health is hiring for a
Speech Language Pathologist
to support our client’s medical facility based in
Detroit, MI . This is a
contract
opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, physician orders, and evidence-based practices. Provide therapy services to patients across age groups, including bedside and inpatient care as appropriate. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and continuity of care.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: ASHA required. BLS (AHA) required. Atleast 2 years of experience
Additional Information: Location: Detroit, MI. Job Type: Contract Schedule: 0700-1930-40 exp wkly hrs Pay Range/Salary Range: $38.50-$43.50/hr
