POSITION SUMMARY Maxx Orthopedics is an expansion stage medical device company that designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes large joint orthopedic implants. Maxx delivers hip and knee replacement products that are affordable, compatible with patients’ anatomy and lifestyle, easier to use for surgeon, and supported by world-class educational initiatives.

The ASC Specialist is primarily responsible covering cases and teaching the uses of the Maxx products to medical professionals. This role will assist in driving market expansion and sales in the states/territories assigned to them. Heavy travel is involved in this role to various surgery centers and hospitals.

Essential Functions Statements(s) Demonstrate strong sales skills. Work directly with outpatient/ambulatory surgery centers to educate and train them on the QRS (Quick Recovery Solutions) platform. Expand sales in Territory via development of surgeon relationships, independent distributor networks and/or representatives. Lead surgeon conversions to drive sales and grow market-share of Company’s product lines. Attain sales objectives as defined by corporate senior management. Develop written data driven plans for forecasting and targeting accounts. Represent the company in relationships with key distributors, ASCs, hospitals, and surgeons to ensure that we meet the buying criteria of clinical end users and senior decision makers. Conduct in-service meetings as needed with customer personnel and surgeon groups to support distribution efforts. Support Area Sales Director in contract negotiations. Stay current with market trends and latest clinical literature.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Comfortable driving multiple initiatives at a rapid pace, and making thoughtful recommendations with available data. Active, effective communicator who drives a company vision/mission to align teams, critical resources, management, and stakeholders. 2+ years relevant sales experience in orthopedic joint replacement required.

Required Skills/Abilities : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Able to excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment; adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events while meeting objectives. Ability to travel up to 80%, as needed Motivated and able to multi-task. Experience with collaboration and influencing across cross-functional teams Strong task management skills, detail-oriented, and able to produce sales reports within defined timelines Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Close attention to detail. Computer literacy and skills in, but not limited to, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
