We are partnering with public and non-public school districts to place
licensed Physical Therapists
in school-based settings for the current and upcoming school year. This role is ideal for PTs who enjoy working with students, value consistent schedules, and want meaningful, impact-driven work in an educational environment.
Position Overview As a School Physical Therapist, you will support students with physical disabilities and developmental challenges, helping them access their educational environment safely and effectively. Assignments may include: Per diem coverage Part-time schedules Full-time and long-term placements
Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Evaluate students’ motor skills, mobility, posture, and functional abilities Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, special education teams, and families Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans Support students in achieving academic and functional goals within the school setting
✅ Requirements Valid
Physical Therapist license
(NY or NJ, depending on assignment) School-based experience preferred (but not required) Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team Compliance with school clearance requirements (fingerprinting, physical, etc.)
