Executive Clinical Leadership in Community Behavioral Health We are seeking an experienced and respected Clinical Director to provide executive-level clinical leadership within one of the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health organizations north of the Twin Cities. This role is ideal for a seasoned licensed clinician who brings depth of experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to high-quality, ethical, and sustainable care.
The Clinical Director plays a critical role in shaping clinical practice, supporting clinical leaders, and partnering with executive leadership to guide the organization’s clinical vision and long-term growth. This position offers the opportunity to lead with purpose while strengthening systems that support both clients and clinicians. Key Responsibilities: The Clinical Director provides strategic oversight rather than routine direct service and works collaboratively across the organization to ensure clinical excellence. Responsibilities include: Provide executive oversight of clinical programs, outcomes, and standards of care Lead, support, and mentor clinical supervisors and senior clinical staff Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements Partner with executive leadership on program planning, evaluation, and development Use data, clinical expertise, and best practices to guide decision-making Represent the organization clinically with community partners and stakeholders This role requires the ability to think systemically, communicate clearly, and lead with confidence and integrity. Required Qualifications: ·
Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) ·
Approved by licensing board to provide clinical supervision ·
Demonstrated clinical leadership and supervisory experience ·
Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: ·
Experience collaborating with community partners, funders, and/or public systems ·
