JOB TITLE: Packager Line 6
DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing
FLSA STATUS: Non‑Exempt
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review job traveler to verify correct frame style, deck label, law label, leg color, suspension, shipping label, and additional required options.

• Inspect product for straight seams, proper sewing, accurate labeling, and mechanism function per production line standards.

• Ensure furniture is clean, complete, and ready for shipment.

• Perform minor repairs as necessary.

• Collaborate with cushion stuffers and deluxers during the packaging process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to safely operate hand tools, including:
– Furniture steamer
– Heat gun
– Blower

• Recognize and use appropriate nuts, bolts, and screws based on furniture style.

• Assemble frames or mechanisms as needed.

• Identify upholstery defects such as sewing errors or material imperfections.

• Perform quality checks to ensure completed product meets standards.

• Capable of lifting and moving up to 100 lbs or more.
