We’re seeking a strategic, results‑driven attorney to be a founding member of our Product & Privacy team. As the Product & Privacy Legal team’s first hire, you’ll work closely with the General Counsel to set the roadmap for, and execute on, our product legal strategy. If you thrive in complex, fast‑paced environments and are passionate about music, technology, and artificial intelligence, this role is for you. What You’ll Do
Be a go‑to cross‑functional legal partner for product, engineering, research, and design. Provide full product life‑cycle counseling, from ideation and development to launch and operation. Identify and keep ahead of the evolving regulatory landscape by translating uncertainty into practical guidance. Be (or become) an expert on a range of issues including intellectual property, privacy, data protection, security, social media, and advertising. Develop and implement scaled legal processes to accelerate the company’s growth. What You’ll Need
JD and in good standing with an active US state bar membership. At least 8+ years of experience, with substantial in‑house experience preferred. Strong business acumen and ability to partner with business and technical teams. Strong understanding of privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and intellectual property law. Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical audiences. Hands‑on attitude to tackle projects large and small, low‑ego approach to working across the organization.
