YOU! The Role We're looking for a
strategic-hunter style sales professional
ideally based in the
Greater Boston
area to lead the commercial efforts of a disruptive
multiplex precision genomic system , across the
North East coast. You'll be at the forefront of introducing a new technology to marketbringing creativity, technical know-how, and genuine customer focus to every interaction. If you have experience selling new
genomic technologies,
particularly in
instrumentation
and consumables, and you're excited by the challenge of developing new business from the ground up..... we'd
LOVE
to meet you! Experience selling into
biopharma/biotech , especially within
gene therapy, rare diseas e,
oncology or MRD
applications, is highly attractive! You'll report directly to the CBO, with an opportunity to transition into sales leader as the organization scales based on success - a highly visible and empowered position to be in! The Skills Youll Possess A bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field. At least 5-10+ years of sales experience driving the adoption of novel
genomic instrumentation & consumable s - experience with
digital PCR or other multiplexed genomic tools
very attractive. Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM. A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision-makers. Flexibility to travel up to 50% across key regions in territory (including occasional overnight trips). A base in or near Boston, MA (this is preferred).
