Job Summary Provide specialty and preventive care in ambulatory infusion centers: assess patients, treat illnesses, order lab tests, prescribe medications, and oversee infusion administration to ensure medication accuracy and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Initiate, develop, implement, and oversee the patient infusion plan, evaluating progress toward goals.
Manage infusion therapies, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
Monitor effectiveness of interventions and maintain patient education.
Coordinate transitions within healthcare settings (admission, transfer, discharge).
Maintain clinical documentation in electronic record, ensuring compliance with policies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and perform population health tasks.
Follow safety protocols, report adverse events, and maintain certifications (ACLS, PALS).
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current APRN licensure and NP certification in a specialty area.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS provider cards.
Minimum 1 year APN experience in a clinical setting; infusion therapy experience preferred.
State license, DEA registration, and unrestricted status.
Advanced charting skills and strong communication.
Basic Education & Experience Requirements
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current APRN licensure.
Current NP certification in specialty area.
Previous infusion therapy experience required.
Active, unrestricted state license and DEA registration.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with electronic charting.
Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Travel Requirements Ability to travel between local infusion centers as needed for coverage, training, etc.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
Experience with oversight and administration of IV biologics.
Supervisory experience.
Telehealth experience.
Salary & Benefits Pay Range: $112,439.64–$187,406.90.
