Registered Nurse (RN) - 2PM to 10PM (Part-Time)
Location: NorthCrest Specialty Care, 94-bed long-term care skilled nursing community, Waterloo, IA.
Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Charge Nurses on the second shift (2:00 PM‑10:00 PM). This part‑time role offers meaningful, resident‑centered care while keeping afternoons and evenings free for you.
Responsibilities
Serve as Charge Nurse during the second shift, overseeing patient care activities.
Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Ensure compliance with long‑term care regulations and facility standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for residents and families during this shift.
Qualifications
Valid RN license in Iowa (or ability to activate one).
Current CPR certification.
Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing setting.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
Dedication to providing compassionate, respectful care.
